La Palma, California - April 18, 2005 — La Palma, California and London, Telematics Update has announced the finalists for the 2005 Telematics Industry Awards. Winners will be announced at the gala dinner that closes the first day’s proceedings at the 5th annual Telematics Detroit Conference and Exhibition, May 16-17 2005 at the Detroit Marriot Livonia, Michigan, USA. Chosen by an independent panel of automotive and wireless industry judges, each judge had to narrow each category to three finalists. "The Telematics Update Awards program aims to recognize and celebrate companies, large and small, who have made huge steps in this niche automotive industry," said Anita Yaa Agyeman, Event Director for Telematics Detroit 2005.
