Former Vice President of International Business Development for Buy.com and Ingram Micro joins the MobileGates Management Team

La Palma, California, May 20, 2003 — MobileGates Tony Meador, President and CEO of MobileGates Corporation announced that Ulla Rodman, former Vice President of International Business Development for Buy.com and Ingram Micro, has been hired to direct the company's national and international corporate strategy and business development.

Ms. Rodman's background revolves around building global businesses in the high tech industry. She has over 15 years of executive management experience including six years at Ingram Micro where she headed the international division, turning it from a $30 million department into a $500M business unit with operations in the USA, Europe, Asia and Latin America, while forming strategic alliances with IBM, Intel, Apple and Microsoft. She also served as VP of Global Business Development at BUY.COM during which time they became the internet's number two retailer with revenues of $1 billion. Ulla's responsibilities over the past 15 years have included P&L responsibility for business units both nationally and internationally, and with as many as 300 employees under her leadership.
