- Anthony Meador — Chief Executive Officer and Founder
- Tony is responsible for the overall direction of the company. A mobile technology pioneer, Tony has developed highly successful MobileGates products including mobile data (WAP) and multimodal (voice and data) applications for large carriers such as Qwest Communications and AT&T Wireless. Tony's previous experience included designing and developing navigation and computer systems for companies such as Jensen Marine, Delco/General Motors and Hughes Aircraft. Tony also founded and grew several software and distribution businesses to millions of dollars in sales. Tony studied electronics automation and software design at Caltech.
- Joan Yankowitz — Senior Vice President, Operations
- Joan is responsible for positioning the company's operations, including helping the company define the financial and marketing strategies. She was most recently Chief Marketing Officer for JBShort Marketing, where she directed all business, marketing, sales, and financial operations. Previously Joan served as Assistant Vice President of Marketing for Bally Total Fitness, a leading provider of health and fitness services, where she directed all marketing research activities, and managed membership operations. Joan also served as Assistant Vice President of Customer Service/Quality Assurance for R.H. Donnelley / Dun & Bradstreet, a $1B Yellow Pages Directory company, where she designed and managed companywide marketing, sales, and customer relations programs.
- Robert Jasek — Senior Vice President, Business Development
- Bob is responsible for positioning the company's business development, financial, sales strategy and marketing including managing the mobile search and wireless carrier sales. He was most recently Vice President of Sales and Business Development for U.S. Retail with Nokia, the world's largest phone manufacturer. Prior to Nokia, Bob was with Eastman Kodak Company as General Manager and Vice President of Sales, where he managed a group of account leaders responsible for photo processing annual sales of $400M. Bob also held various management positions during his 17 years with Kodak, in strategic account management, sales operations, strategic planning and financial analysis. Bob earned his M.B.A. from Cornell University Johnson Graduate School of Management where he graduated with Distinction (Top 5%). Bob was a Recipient of N.Y. State CPA Award (Top Accounting Student). Bob received his B.S., in Business Administration from the State University of N.Y. at Albany.
- Scott Monte — Senior Vice President, Marketing
- Scott is responsible for positioning the company' marketing strategy, tactics and advertising programs. He was most recently Vice President of Entertainment, IAC where he authored the business plan and was responsible for creating the vision for the launch of a new national consumer publication and web site. IAC's Entertainment Publications is the industry leader in 50% off consumer savings, coupons and merchant promotions. Prior to IAC, Scott held senior positions with Disney Publishing, A & E and Rodale Publishing. Throughout his career he directed various advertising sales teams to the highest levels of achievement, including Ad Week's annual Top Ten Hot Magazine List for four straight years and managed accounts such as General Electric, MasterCard, Subaru, Canon, Toyota, Johnson & Johnson, Sony, Nikon, Schering-Plough, HBO, Panasonic,. AARP, Cendant, Geico, and MasterCard. Scott received a Bachelor of Arts in Geography, San Diego State University .
- Thomas Mitchell — Senior Vice President, Sales
- Tom is responsible for all aspects of the Company's sales efforts, including managing the Company's retail sales channel. Prior to MobileGates™, Tom served as VP, Sales and Marketing at Pharos, Inc., a leader of GPS devices and navigation software. He developed the complete sales team, programs and product strategy. Tom also served in senior sales positions at Clifford Electronics, Vivitar Corporation, Clarion Corporation, Harmon Kardon, Inc., and Craig Corp.
- Michael Kantor — Chief Technical Officer, Ph.D
- Michael is responsible for all aspects of the Company's technology development and innovation efforts. Prior to MobileGates™, Michael served as a lecturer at the School of Information and Computer Science at the University of California, Irvine, and worked with NASA to develop coordination technologies for NASA's ground control systems. Michael also served at Verizon Science & Technology. Michael received his Ph.D. in Software Engineering and Collaboration from the University of California, Irvine,his MS in Software Engineering from the University of California, Irvine, and his BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Washington, Seattle.
- Stephan Meyers — Chief Information Officer
- Stephan is responsible for all aspects of the Company's information and content research and product user interface design efforts. Prior to MobileGates™, Stephan served as Senior Research Scientist and Content Guru for Nokia Research Center . Former Clients include Nokia, Jamdat, Vivendi-Universal, Clear Channel. Stephan was an Inventor with Nokia. His fourteen patents include: System and method for public wireless network access subsidized by dynamic display advertising, Electronically augmented multiplayer sporting game, Method and system for managing rights in digital information over a network, Method and arrangement for arranging, selecting and displaying location data in a cellular telephone system. Stephan has a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Electronic Visualization, a BS in Mathematics /Computer Science, and an AA in Dance.
- Tony Amaya — Vice President, Business Solutions & Affiliate Programs
- Tony is responsible for aspects of the Company's operations, products, and customer care. Tony manages MobileGates™ and Cellfo business solution project analysis, affiliate relationships and customer care departments. Prior to MobileGates™, Tony held a Director position with AT&T Wireless where he established and maintained regional markets, customer care operations and fulfilled sales quotas for national retail accounts. Tony has over 10 years experience working with carriers such as AT&T Wireless, Sprint Nextel, and Cingular Wireless, including rollouts, events, advertising, as well as staffing & training for large chains such as CompUSA, Circuit City and Fry's Electronics.
