Seamless Device Gateways
The Seamless Data Gateway allows MobileGates to establish the secure and dedicated connection that is needed to retrieve the enterprise data to be processed in Application Modules. For the connectivity, we use WAN (Wide-Area-Network) or TCP/IP protocol with SSL (Secure Socket Layers) and LDAP directory services.
MobileGates technology is not dependent on the carrier and their underlying technology. The Device Gateways transform the data from MobileGates Application Modules into formats suitable for use in a wide variety of wired and wireless networks including CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access), GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication, (TDMA) Time Division Multiple Access, CDPD (Cellular Digital Packet Data), GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) and IP (Internet Protocol). MobileGates Device Gateway enables our clients to deploy their services through multiple network service providers without a need for them to establish a wireless communication infrastructure and allows for new protocols to be supported without changes to MobileGates architecture.
