MobileGates Collaborator software makes the cell phone a personalized navigation system that allows users to navigate, collaborate and share information easily from a voice or data user interface. MobileGates' core patent pending product was designed our the founder, Tony Meador, who has over 20 years of experience in navigation and software development with companies such as GM/Delco and Huges Aircraft, and co-inventor Michael Kantor, who has a PhD in Collaboration and over 10 years of experience in mobile/software with NASA and Verizon.
MobileGates Collaborator Desktop and NavSuite provide the only full suite of integrated location-based applications with the ability to turn almost any mobile phone into a navigation system, whether or not the phone contains a GPS chip.
NavSuite applications are currently sold by Verizon Wireless and Sprint. MobileGates has the ability to configure its product offerings in a way that allows customers to pick, choose, and pay for only those applications that the customer wants to use.
The system is designed to optimize collaboration with multiple groups and third parties (Dispatchers, Route Managers, Office Managers). MobileGates has a contract with Sprint Nextel and Verizon Wireless to market several MobileGates' products to their customers and thousands of paying subscribers are signing up a month.
This proprietary product platform provides several patent pending features that will provide a springboard to lead the market with location and mapping technologies.
